Last week I went to First Glass to do the wine and food pairing and was really satisfied, so much so we booked the wine window experience yesterday and enjoyed our selves even more. Jamie was a gracious and funny hostess. She explained to us the past history of the wine windows and how things stand currently for the “modern” wine windows. We really enjoy their way of leading a wine tasting, there is an informative booklet and lots of interactive parts to “train” your palet. We will certainly be back! Thanks again to the whole staff who were so lovely to us on both visits 🙏🏽

Stefano was an incredible host; kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. He provided an experience unlike anything we’ve found at vineyards or wine shops back in the States. We were able to taste unique wines we had never encountered before, making it a truly memorable visit.

Uhhh… what a great place! We came in looking for something nice to drink and ended up having an amazing experience. We had two glasses of Argentine wine and they were absolutely spectacular—great body, flavor, and top quality. The atmosphere is super cozy and perfect to relax and enjoy your time. But the best part was the service: 10/10—friendly, attentive, and with excellent recommendations. Definitely a place to come back and keep trying more wines. Highly recommended! 🍷

Uhhh… what a great place! We came in looking for something nice to drink and ended up having an amazing experience. My wife and I loved stopping by FirstGlass during our evenings in Florence. Whether it's a resting place before or after dinner in the city, or the destination for an evening of wine tasting and conversation, this establishment is an excellent option. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and make you feel right at home. Not pushy with a sale, and happy to sit with you and talk if you want them to, or provide excellent local restaurant recommendation if you need them (it was delicious, by the way, thank you!).
In addition to on site tastings and wine by the glass, they sell kits of varying sizes that can be taken home on flights because of how they're packaged. Very cool idea.
We will definitely be making another stop here next time we pass through Florence.

I made reservations and did the First Glass tasting (€50). It was an experience, as an expat, that I have not had. You do the learning about the wine instead of someone telling you. You are in control of your experience and figure out what flavors, smells you lean into. My hostess was wonderful and afforded me an opportunity I wouldn’t have had anywhere else. Snacks and water were provided and I bought extra wine afterwards to enjoy. Wonderful business and worth the experience. They do have a wine window for take away and all bottles are single serve size. Too cute!!

Firstglass is one of my favorire places to have a glass of wine in Florence. Stefano has always been so welcoming and knowledgable about each wine on their list. He truly makes the wine tasting an experience. I have visited Firstglass many times because of the positive experiences I have had here. Couldn’t recommend stopping here for a glass for for the tasting menu enough!

Chanced upon Firstglass by randomly walking. These beautiful ladies were offering wine tasting sessions which why not instead of drinking random wines at a random bar. Although I've done my basic WSELT, I was surprised that my husband partook and was pretty darn good! Johana was absolutely Knowledgeable and shared so much more and beyond with us!

The perfect Wine Spot in Firenze
I was asking for an Italian Champagne and got the perfect Rosé Prosecco.
The owner was super friendly and the Bar was super good looking.

The wine Tasting was very intricate and detailed. Our Host explained it in English and how to observe the pallete of wine tasting. The selection was a reasonable price and red and white wine was great. It was smooth. Sitting outside and people watchingwas great.

Had an incredible time at First Glass! Incredible seating area and if you don’t want to sit you can get wine at their to-go window! Jamie was awesome with great hospitality! Lastly, it’s right next to the Ponte Vecchio bridge so after your walk and picture a nice glass of wine is perfect!

The staff was lovely!! Excellent service, very sustainable, staff was very knowledgeable and professional, reasonable, attentive and helpful! Service is very tailored to customers’ interests! Fun and fascinating experience, I found it very enjoyable to learn about wine tasting with my family! Highly recommend this bar if you're interested in trying different Italian wines as part of a unique tasting experience with excellent service. I sat here for a few hours watching the world go by while I enjoyed a few different glasses. A great way to learn more about the flavour profiles of wine if you have a keen interest.

I was walking around in Firenze, I found this store atmosphere is so nice and the staff is so friendly and kind.he taught me any wine. I tasted one white wine and rose wine. So nice smell, taste and also smell after drinking. That’s so great time in Firenze.

This was a great experience for those traveling to Florence and wanting to try Italian wine. Traveling to a different country where you don’t speak the language can be intimidating but Diamond made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We did the “All Around Italy” wine tasting that consisted of 2 different wines per person, snacks and a fun interactive lesson on how to use our senses to distinguish/categorize wines. It is definitely knowledge we can use in the future. Fun experience even on a rainy day 🤗

This was a great experience for those traveling to Florence and wanting to try Italian wine. Loved this place we came back twice! The owner is super friendly and very good at recommending wine. You get snacks while you enjoy your wine. The bottles are only 100mL (airport friendly) and a normal glass of wine is 150mL so we felt a little jipped on the price that’s why only 4 stars. Great location though.
