Discover Terra Greta: the soul of the Terra Bianca vineyard

Among the wines of Tenuta Montiani, Terra Greta stands out — born from the historic Terra Bianca vineyard, planted in the 1970s on galestro soils facing southeast and surrounded by the scents of the Mediterranean scrub.

The harvest is carried out by hand, with a careful selection of the finest bunches. The grapes reach the vat by gravity, after a gentle destemming that preserves the integrity of the fruit. Alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously, with no added yeasts, and lasts about 20–25 days, accompanied by manual pump-overs, punch-downs, and délestages performed with meticulous care.

After racking, the wine rests on the fine lees for one or two months, then moves from steel to wood, where it completes malolactic fermentation and continues its long aging for 18–24 months. Only when nature provides grapes of outstanding quality is Terra Greta produced — a certified organic wine, born from Sangiovese and Canaiolo, embodying the strength and character of the hills of Greve in Chianti.

Once bottled, it rests for at least six months, reaching the glass with its soul intact: elegant, genuine, and deeply connected to its land.
